I was born and raised in South Africa. I've had a love and passion for chocolate from a young age (more eating than making at that stage). I travelled to London in 1997, where I ended up living for 13 years. My background is in hospitality (running restaurants). I left London to return to the sunny shores of Cape Town in 2010, only to find myself and my hubby move to Wexford a short while later in 2011. It was here that my passion for chocolates developed from a hobby to a business. Zaeire Artisan Chocs was born!
The name represents the coming together of South Africa (ZA) and Ireland (Eire) - The story of my husband and I.
